Aprilaire #4119 pleat spacers for air cleaner model 2200 (5-Pack). Spacers clip into the plastic inner housing to hold filter media in place and keep pleat spacing even. Pleat spacers and inner housing can be re-used and only need to be replaced if they are broken or lost.

Someday, I will purchase the upgrade kit. This is get me thru until I need to upgrade. This actually holds the filter down better than the orginal spacers. The fit is tighter or maybe my orginal spacers are just getting too old. I have had this unit for over 15 years.

Heavier product than OEM. Good fit. No problems.Fifty bucks is kind of high for 5 pieces of plastic. Probably cost the manufacturer 50 cents each.

The original pleat spacers break as they get older. These are a very convenient way to replace them while replacing the filter.
