Humidifier water panels (sometimes referred to as a filter) are a regular replacement item in whole-house humidifiers. For the best performance we recommend that the Water Panel be replaced once a year, either prior to the start or at the end of the heating season. If you have especially hard water - the panel can be replaced 2 times per year.
Packaging Change - We are no longer shipping boxed product - will arrive in protective shrink wrap package. Will be marked USA12NT.

It's not the product at fault-It's the design. For a gas fired furnace it really doesn't put much humidity in the air. I guess the fan has to be on all the time for good circulation. So the product is what it is and good quality, good fit, and would buy it again. [...]
